How do we measure OTT Ranking?
AI/Data Science model behind the scene
The ranking is determined by eigenvector centrality. For every user interactions in known networks, we extrapolate a network representation of user journeys and measure centrality of each journey points in the network. Each movies (and TV shows) are weighted by the centrality, and sorted to generate proper ranking.
FYI, eigenvector centrality is one of the key measurements in Google’s PageRank.
