All five members of NewJeans have returned to ADOR.
Their exclusive contracts are now confirmed.
A full group comeback is next.

After a year of legal battles and uncertainty that kept fans on edge, the future of the global phenomenon NewJeans has finally been clarified. In a dramatic and sequential turn of events, all five members of the group have officially decided to return to their agency, ADOR, paving the way for a highly anticipated full-group comeback and ending a period of immense speculation about the group's dissolution.

This resolution marks a significant chapter in one of the K-pop industry's most publicized internal disputes, bringing a sense of closure and a new beginning for the artists and their dedicated fanbase, Bunnies.

The path to this reunion, however, was not instantaneous but unfolded over a single, whirlwind day. The process began when ADOR itself released an official statement confirming that two of the five members had chosen to come back. This initial step set the stage for the eventual return of the entire group, demonstrating that a resolution was actively being negotiated behind the scenes.

Haerin and Hyein Pave the Way for NewJeans Return

The first major breakthrough in the standoff between NewJeans and ADOR came on November 12th, when the agency made an official announcement. They confirmed that members Haerin and Hyein had formally expressed their intention to continue their activities under ADOR.

The agency's statement provided insight into the members decision-making process, noting it was made after careful deliberation with their families. More importantly, it directly referenced the recent court rulings that had dominated the narrative.

“After careful consideration with their families and thorough discussions with ADOR, the two members have decided to respect the court’s ruling and honor their contracts," ADOR stated.

This announcement immediately shifted the public's focus to the remaining three members, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle, and what their next move would be. ADOR's commitment to ensuring the members' smooth activities and their request for fans to refrain from unfounded speculation hinted at a desire to move forward professionally.

The Full Group Reunites Under ADOR

The question surrounding Minji, Hanni, and Danielle was answered just hours later. Through their legal representative and a direct statement, the three members announced their own decision to return to the agency. Their announcement included a unique detail that explained the slightly staggered nature of the confirmations.

“After careful discussions, we have decided to return to ADOR. One member is currently in Antarctica, which caused some delay in communication. As we have not received a response from ADOR, we are announcing this separately," they shred.

This direct communication from the members clarified their position and intent to move forward. In response to this sudden announcement, ADOR adopted a more cautious public stance.

“We are currently confirming the sincerity of Minji, Hanni, and Danielle’s intention to return" ADOR clamied.

Despite this initial verification step, the collective decision of all five members effectively reunites NewJeans under the ADOR banner.

This decision brings a definitive end to the legal conflict that began in November of last year when the members declared their contract termination and began independent activities under the name "NJZ."

ADOR had consistently maintained that the exclusive contracts were legally binding and filed a lawsuit to confirm their validity. The court ultimately ruled in ADOR's favor, both in a provisional injunction and the first trial, upholding the contracts.

With the members now returning, it confirms that their exclusive contracts with ADOR will be honored and remain in effect for their original duration. This resolution also aligns with reports that ADOR had been preparing for a NewJeans comeback all along, having even submitted demo tracks and a tracklist for a full-length album to the court as evidence of their readiness.

The fanbase, Team Bunnies, also released a statement respecting the members' decisions and affirming their continued support, signaling a unified front for the future.

Ultimately, the return of all five members of NewJeans to ADOR not only concludes a complex and public legal dispute but also secures the future of one of K-pop's most prominent groups. With the legal hurdles cleared and the group officially intact, the stage is now set for NewJeans to resume their activities, with fans around the world eagerly awaiting their next musical chapter and the promised full album comeback.

This is the most elegant and positive outcome! :sparkles: NewJeans’ visuals and music are like a soft, beautiful dream. I can’t wait to see their new concept photos and sparkling stages!

Hmm, so they’re all back? I knew it. The court ruling was clear, and it was only a matter of time before they had to accept it. Let’s see if this “reunion” lasts :eyes::smirking_face:

A beautiful dream? More like a business decision. Let’s see how “elegant” it is when their next comeback doesn’t break their previous records. The real test is just starting :persevering_face:

Glad that’s all sorted. Now maybe my daughter will stop sighing dramatically every time a NewJeans song comes on the pub playlist. Ready for the new banger.

This is such a relief! Now I can fully support them again without any stress. Hope to see them on variety shows soon, maybe with Daesung? That would be epic!:kissing_face_with_closed_eyes:

Noona, let’s be positive! :folded_hands: They’re young and talented, and the most important thing is that they’re together again. I believe they can make it last, especially with Thai Bunnies support! :thailand::green_heart:

Aigoo, your optimism is cute @Sunti_Tawan But talent doesn’t pay legal fees. We’ll see how long the togetherness lasts when the next big brand deal only goes to one or two of them. Just saying.

I hope they don’t make any reckless decisions like before. They still need a lot of guidance. I really hope fans stay loyal in supporting them.

True, the outcome was pretty predictable after the ruling. I just hope they’ve learned from everything and won’t repeat the same mistakes. Stability is what they really need now.

Yeah yeah they’re back now, but I’m just waiting to see if they can keep it together without another plot twist. K-pop feels like a whole telenovela lately

Yeah, being positive is fine, but let’s not pretend everything fixes itself overnight

They’re back, good for them. I’ll wait for the music first before believing anything. Actions matter more than announcements.
