He will perform next at MAMA Awards 2025.

Fresh off his monumental comeback, G-Dragon is proving his influence extends far beyond the recording studio, stepping into the worlds of high finance and major cultural events. The iconic artist has just unveiled a prestigious collaboration with Hana Card, one of South Korea's financial services companies, demonstrating his powerful pull as a cultural trendsetter and brand innovator.

This partnership isn't just a simple endorsement, it's a deep integration of G-Dragon's artistic philosophy with a financial product, creating something truly unique for his fans and high-net-worth clients alike. Limited Edition G-Dragon Hana Card: A Fusion of Art and Finance

Hana Card, a major credit card issuer under the Hana Financial Group, has tapped into G-Dragon's unique creative vision for this exclusive project. On November 11, they unveiled not just one, but three limited-edition card designs personally conceptualized by G-Dragon himself. The collection will be available for a strict two-month period until January 11 of next year.

The artist reportedly reinterpreted Hana Financial Group's core philosophy of "Hana" (which means "one") into the designs, which are said to symbolize "the beginning of shining perfection," "the moment of harmony where diversity blossoms into one," and "the journey of growth as one."

The lineup is tiered to cater to different levels of fans and spenders. The pinnacle is the "G-Dragon Centum by Jade," a premium metal card crafted from duralumin, a cutting-edge material used in aircraft construction, that comes delivered in a dedicated metal case.

The luxury of G-Dragon's limited card comes with a price tag to match which is an annual fee of 1 million won. For that, cardholders who opt for the Visa brand gain access to top-tier "Infinite" level services. These include lavish travel perks like complimentary breakfast, room upgrades, and accommodation discounts at over 1,000 global hotels, plus complimentary valet parking at Incheon International Airport and luxury domestic hotels.

For those seeking a more accessible option, the "G-Dragon by Jade" card carries a 150,000 won annual fee and offers benefits like voucher rewards, complimentary airport lounge access, and Visa's "Signature" level services. In a direct nod to his fanbase, this card also covers a 30,000 won membership fee for G-Dragon's official fan club. Rounding out the collection is the "G-Dragon Check by Hana Travel Go," a check card that provides practical benefits like free foreign currency exchange, waived overseas usage fees, and cashback on domestic purchases.

“To fully convey the message of collaboration, we prepared various elements such as card design, packaging, and pop-up store experiences. With this collaboration card, we will provide customers with a new experience where finance and art become one," a Hana Card representative stated.

Busan Fireworks Celebrate G-Dragon's Cultural Impact

Simultaneously, G-Dragon's cultural footprint is being celebrated on a massive, public scale. The prestigious 20th Busan Fireworks Festival, held at Gwangalli Beach, dedicated a significant segment of its spectacular show to the artist. In a fitting tribute to his status, Part 1 of the festival's main event featured a special fireworks display meticulously choreographed to the beats of his powerful solo track, "Übermensch." This wasn't just any fireworks show, the organizers leveraged cutting-edge technology to enhance the experience.

They utilized a 'Polarizing Filter' hologram glass, jointly developed by AI entertainment tech company Galaxy Corporation and a local startup, to create a unique, three-dimensional visual spectacle. An AI-generated digital virtual fireworks show was also displayed on a large media wall, ensuring a multi-sensory experience for the thousands of spectators lining the shore.

The festival, which expanded to a three-part format for its 20th anniversary, saw a staggering 80,000 to 90,000 fireworks shells light up the Busan skyline. By featuring G-Dragon's music so prominently, the event directly linked the city's identity as a vibrant tourism hub with the global appeal of K-culture, which G-Dragon so powerfully represents. This act of celebrating an individual artist at a national-level festival is a rare honor, cementing his "artist as a monument" status within the Korean cultural landscape.

Looking ahead, G-Dragon is confirmed to continue his reign on the stage as a performer at the upcoming 2025 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Hong Kong this November. He will be joining a stellar lineup including aespa, Stray Kids, and Riize, promising another show-stopping performance that will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the two-night ceremony.

A fireworks festival set to his song is such a beautiful tribute. It feels like a dramatic scene from a K-drama, so emotional and powerful :fireworks:

The card is cool, but can we talk about the synced to fireworks? The production value for that must have been insane! The audio-visual experience must be incredible!

I may not fully understand K-pop merch, but a fireworks show for a song sounds absolutely magical! What a beautiful way to honor an artist :two_hearts:

For real! That combo of Übermensch and fireworks probably felt unreal. Like, imagine the bass drop hitting while the sky explodes in color… total goosebumps moment

Only G-Dragon could turn a credit card into a piece of art. This man’s influence goes beyond music, it’s pure cultural power :fire:

A 1 million won annual fee is wild, but honestly… it’s G-Dragon. People will still get it just for the prestige
