With her second mini album MY, Lover, released on November 3, the idol-turned-soloist has not only topped major domestic charts but also cemented her global influence with record-breaking numbers. The album’s title track Say My Name soared straight to No. 1 on Bugs’ real-time chart and dominated Melon’s HOT 100, while the album itself ranked first on QQ Music and Kugou Music in China. Beyond Asia, MY, Lover climbed to the top of iTunes Top Albums in over 15 regions including the US, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand, a remarkable feat that proves her power as both a vocalist and storyteller.

Miyeon’s latest album beautifully interprets the multifaceted nature of love through her own delicate lens. Each song carries emotional weight, blending her lyrical depth and warm vocals into a cohesive narrative. Following the pre-release track Reno (Feat. Colde), which also shot to the top of domestic and international charts, Say My Name arrived as a minimalist yet deeply expressive anthem, and fans have embraced it wholeheartedly.

On November 3, Miyeon hosted a special fan showcase titled To. MY, Lover at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul. The event felt more like a love letter than a performance, as she performed all seven tracks from the new album, shared behind-the-scenes stories, and even held an emotional “album unboxing” segment with fans.
Her setlist included Show, You And No One Else, FFLY (which she co-wrote), Reno (Feat. Colde), Say My Name, Petal Shower, and Space Invader. To close the night, Miyeon sang Drive from her debut album MY, creating a narrative bridge between her past and present artistry.
The night reached its most heartwarming moment when fellow (G)I-DLE members Minnie and Yuqi appeared as surprise guests. Minnie cheered from the audience before joining Miyeon on stage, saying, “I was watching from the crowd since the beginning. I hope this can be a small gift of support.” Yuqi followed with a bouquet and added, “You were amazing. Let’s keep doing our best.” The heartfelt reunion drew thunderous applause and countless emotional reactions online.

Starting November 5, Miyeon will open a pop-up store titled MIYEON 2nd Mini Album [MY, Lover] POP-UP at Yeongdeungpo Times Square, running for seven days. She’s also set to perform her comeback stage on KBS2’s Music Bank on November 7, marking the official beginning of her full-fledged promotion period.
