BLACKPINK lit up Jakarta with two sold-out nights at GBK Stadium.
The Deadline World Tour united thousands of passionate Blinks.
A stunning showcase of music, energy, and connection.

Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium in Jakarta once again turned into a sea of black and pink in early November 2025. The K-pop powerhouse BLACKPINK visited Indonesia’s capital as part of their Deadline World Tour, their first-ever stadium tour which kicked off in Goyang in July 2025. The “pink dome” atmosphere, as described by local media, was felt from the very first day. As reported by The Jakarta Post, Jakarta welcomed the return of this global quartet with thunderous excitement, as the main stadium filled with BLACKPINK’s songs and the roaring voices of Blinks. The energy never dimmed through the second night, with spotlights illuminating their meticulously designed concert costumes.

According to the report, the two-day concert in Jakarta was one of the biggest Asian stops on the tour. During their Born Pink tour in 2023, more than 100,000 fans filled GBK. Now, the Deadline World Tour has successfully repeated that record. Local fans, known as Indonesian Blinks, reportedly filled the 78,000-seat stadium on both nights, creating a spectacular atmosphere. The city itself transformed; the Senayan area was flooded with fans dressed in black and pink, causing heavy yet orderly traffic. Despite a brief rain before Saturday’s show, the concert ran smoothly, further proving BLACKPINK’s enduring popularity in Indonesia.

Euphoria and Atmosphere at GBK Stadium

From the late afternoon leading up to the show, Gelora Bung Karno was already overflowing with excitement. Thousands of Blinks from across the country arrived carrying lightsticks, posters, and black-pink themed outfits. The crowd sang along to BLACKPINK hits like DDU-DU DDU-DU and Pink Venom while waiting for the gates to open, creating an emotional pre-concert buzz. When the lights dimmed and Jennie’s name appeared on the big screen, the stadium erupted as tens of thousands of voices chanted in unison, making GBK tremble with energy.

Jennie responded with “Aku cinta kalian” (I love you all) and thanked the audience for the love and energy she felt. Throughout the concert, she constantly interacted with the crowd, even joining in the local chant “nggak mau pulang, maunya digoyang” (don’t wanna go home, wanna dance instead) while playfully moving on stage. That small gesture instantly warmed the atmosphere and showed how much effort the members made to connect with their Indonesian fans.

The lively atmosphere was also captured in other fan posts:

“helppp Jennie’s reaction to Rosé kissing Jisoo 😭😭😫.”

“right in front of me?? Kim Jisoo??”

This spontaneous moment quickly became a viral topic online, highlighting the members’ affectionate bond. Another fan repeated,

“Jakarta crowd couldn’t stop chanting Jennie’s name 🥺,”

emphasizing how strong the crowd’s support for Jennie was.

The concert organizer, iMe Indonesia, also expressed deep gratitude toward both the artists and the audience, writing:

“WHAT AN AMAZING TWO DAYS OF BLACKPINK!… Thank you to JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA for the incredible performances… We hope you’ll return to Jakarta soon. Thank you to all Blinks who sang, screamed, and filled the venue with love and passion. Seeing everyone together in one place was pure magic. You made it FIRE!”

Their message perfectly captured how the audience became an integral part of the concert’s success.

The members themselves also added local touches that delighted fans. Rosé, known for her love of food, shared a clip of herself eating nasi goreng (fried rice) on the first day and sate ayam (chicken satay) on the second day, eliciting loud cheers from the crowd. Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa often greeted fans with Indonesian phrases like “kalian terbaik” (you’re the best). These small gestures served as cultural bridges between the idols and their devoted audience.

Setlist and Unforgettable Moments

BLACKPINK presented an extensive setlist filled with global hits and new material. At the opening show in Goyang, Billboard noted that they performed crowd favorites like Lovesick Girls, Pink Venom, and How You Like That. The full official setlist featured over 20 songs: Kill This Love, Pink Venom, How You Like That, Playing With Fire, Shut Down, followed by solo stages from each member: Jisoo with Earthquake/Your Love, Lisa with New Woman/Rockstar, Jennie with Mantra/with the IE/like Jennie, and Rosé with 3am/toxic till the end/APT. They also included classic fan favorites such as Pretty Savage, Don’t Know What to Do, Whistle, Stay, Lovesick Girls, BOOMBAYAH, DDU-DU DDU-DU, As If It’s Your Last, Forever Young, and See U Later. Notably, an unreleased track titled Jump was performed twice, quickly becoming the night’s biggest highlight as the crowd danced along.

The setlist was carefully arranged to maintain a balance of intensity and emotion. Kill This Love and Pink Venom kicked off the show with thunderous beats, while Playing With Fire and Shut Down showcased the group’s darker, more glamorous side. Each solo stage reflected a distinct personality: Jisoo impressed with her rock ballad from Amortage, Lisa exuded charisma through hard-hitting rap numbers from Alter Ego, Jennie radiated confidence with tracks from Ruby, and Rosé captivated fans with soulful pop tunes from rosie. The four reunited at the finale with Forever Young and an encore of See U Later, leaving the audience in pure euphoria.

Beyond the structured setlist, it was the spontaneous interactions that made the Jakarta show truly unforgettable. At one point, Rosé invited the crowd to sing Happy Birthday for Jisoo after a message appeared on the screen for a staff member’s birthday. Jennie, who had gone viral earlier for her funny reaction when Rosé kissed Jisoo, laughed and gave high-fives to fans in the front row. Jisoo appeared emotional as the audience sang along to every verse, while Lisa kept the adrenaline high, shouting, “Jakarta, are you ready?”

Some of the fan reactions on social media captured the night’s emotions perfectly:

“we’re very grateful for all of you guys, and all the love that you’re sending us, I can feel the energy.”

“It was absolutely spectacular, unforgettable, and full of energy… Seeing everyone come together in one place was magical.”

“Jakarta crowd couldn’t stop chanting Jennie’s name.”

“helppp Jennie’s reaction to Rosé kissing Jisoo 😭😭😫.”

Each comment reflected the joy, affection, and emotional bond shared between BLACKPINK and their Indonesian fans.

BLACKPINK’s presence at GBK was more than just a concert; it was a cultural celebration that united tens of thousands of people from diverse backgrounds. With a hit-filled setlist, heartfelt interactions, and genuine appreciation for local culture, the show wasn’t only about music; it was about connection. No wonder so many fans and organizers alike hope for their return soon. Once again, BLACKPINK proved their standing as one of the most influential girl groups in the world, and Jakarta stood as witness to the powerful harmony between the group and their beloved Blinks.
