Lee Yi Kyung faces false adult message accusations.
His agency is now taking firm legal action.
The original accuser admitted the claims were fabricated.
Actor Lee Yi Kyung and his agency, Sangyoung Entertainment, are taking a firm and definitive legal stand against a resurgence of damaging and fabricated rumors about his private life. This situation has escalated after the individual who initially spread the false accusations reappeared online with new statements, forcing the actor's team to move from warnings to concrete action. The core of the issue revolves around explicit messages that were falsely attributed to the actor, a claim that has been thoroughly denied and even previously retracted by the very person who started it all.
The controversy has taken a bizarre turn with the original whistleblower, a German netizen identified only as "A," attempting to clarify her previous posts, which only added more layers to the confusion. So, what exactly is the full story behind these adult-rated rumors that have been plaguing the star? Let's dive into the details.

The Start of the 19+ Messages Falsely Attributed to Lee Yi Kyung
The entire incident began when netizen "A" took to an online portal blog with a post startlingly titled, "Lee Yi-kyung, I'm exposing your real self." In this now-deleted post, she released screenshots of private messages she claimed were a conversation between herself and the actor.
The content of these messages was explicitly sexual and highly damaging. The screenshots, purportedly Lee Yi Kyung, was shown making lewd remarks, asking about the woman's breast size, using vulgar language like "I'll XX you," and repeatedly requesting intimate photos. Specifically, one message read, "Send me a body photo," which became a focal point of the scandal.
The woman bolstered her claims by releasing a photo she said was sent by the actor, explaining, "This is Lee Yi-kyung's real self," and adding, "At the time, I thought he was a really kind person. I sent him a selfie, and in the photo, you could see a little bit of his chest. At first, he covered it with an emoticon and asked me to show it to him."
However, as the online storm grew, netizen "A" suddenly backtracked and posted a lengthy explanation on an online community. She confessed to having financial motives in the past but denied ever receiving money or that her recent post was about extortion.
"I did ask once, 'Can you give me money?' I was personally in dire need of money, and it was difficult to ask my parents for help," she stated.
"However, I never actually received any money, and I have never asked for it again since," A insisted.
"The post I made yesterday wasn't about money. (Lee Yi-kyung) wanted to use strong language to prevent other women from going through the same thing," A continued.
Addressing the awkward Korean in her posts, she explained, "My Korean is not very good. I've been learning Korean on my own for eight years, and I'm not a con artist, I'm German." She concluded her statement with a plea, saying, "I hope there is no misunderstanding, and I hope you don't interfere with my personal life or anything else. I didn't know this would get this big."

Lee Yi Kyung Takes Firm Legal Action
In response to the widespread circulation of these fabricated messages, Lee Yi Kyung's agency, Sangyoung Entertainment, did not hesitate to take a powerful and transparent stance. They immediately released an official statement that left no room for ambiguity, declaring, "All of the content recently circulating online is false".
"We are currently preparing legal action. We recognize the seriousness of this matter and will take civil and criminal action against those who spread false information and defame others," Sangyoung Entertainment stated.
Crucially, the agency revealed that this was not an isolated incident but a repeat of a previous attempt at extortion, which severely undermines the credibility of netizen "A"'s claims. A representative from Sangyoung Entertainment provided critical context.
"The poster had already sent a similar piece of text to the company several months ago, demanding money and threatening us. At the time, the poster admitted the falsehood and personally sent an apology email, but recently reposted the same content online."
In another statement, they elaborated, "About five months ago, we received a threatening email with fabricated content demanding money via company email… When we threatened legal action, the person who spread it apologized, saying, 'It was false.'
This unfortunate episode highlights the severe real-world impact of online misinformation and malicious rumors on a celebrity's reputation and mental well-being. Lee Yi Kyung's case is particularly compelling because his agency has presented a clear history of the accuser admitting to falsehood and attempting extortion. While the initial salacious rumors spread rapidly, the swift, evidence-backed, and firm response from Sangyoung Entertainment has shifted the narrative towards the perils of false accusations and the importance of legal accountability. The public's attention now turns to the outcome of the promised legal action, which will serve as a significant benchmark for how the entertainment industry handles such malicious, coordinated attacks in the digital age.

I knew it! This has extortion written all over it. The accuser already admitted it was false before. Some people just want to ruin a celebrity’s career for money. Disgusting

My heart aches for him. To face such malicious rumors is truly awful. I hope he is surrounded by good people and finds strength. Sending warm, supportive thoughts
Oh, it’s truly so heartbreaking and unfair. To think someone would do this… I just hope Lee Yi Kyung is staying strong and knows that his real fans see the truth and support him. Let’s all send him warm and positive energy!

Qué barbaridad! The level of fabrication is insane. Props to his agency for taking a strong legal stand. You can’t let people get away with this kind of chaos.
Why do you think some people fabricate stories about celebrities like this?
This is just so sad
To have someone try to extort you and then spread lies… my heart goes out to him. I hope his legal action brings him peace and justice.
I know, right? It just makes you so angry for him. You hit the nail on the head, you absolutely cannot let people get away with creating this kind of chaos. I really hope this legal action finally puts an end to it and he can find some peace

Because they know people will believe anything scandalous online.
It’s crazy how one person’s lie can spiral into a massive scandal. The internet needs to learn to wait for facts before judging.
Some do it for attention, others for money. It’s pathetic either way.
I’m glad his agency isn’t staying silent this time. Taking legal action is the only way to stop malicious rumors like this.
