This incident is part of a distressing pattern for the idol, who has suffered from multiple security breaches this year alone, including an attempted break-in by a Chinese woman in her 30s in June and another incident in August where a woman in her 40s successfully sneaked inside his residence. In their official Weverse notice,

"Acts such as visiting or loitering around an artist’s residence, observing their homes from outside, leaking personal information, and all other invasions of privacy fall under criminal offenses such as trespassing and stalking," BigHit said in their statement.

The agency's statement was direct and left no room for negotiation. They asserted, "We are responding to illegal acts with a principle of zero tolerance. Defamation, insults, and the spreading of false information will also be met with legal action."

BigHit further provided an update on their ongoing legal efforts, revealing that some cases filed last year have already been sent to the prosecution with recommendations for indictment, and that cases from this year are actively under investigation.

"In July, several cases were referred to prosecution with recommendations for indictment. Cases filed this year are also under investigation, with suspects being summoned through executed warrants," they explained.
