Park Bo-gum shines at both a chaebol family art event in Seoul and his Macao fan meeting.
Fans were touched by his warm presence, heartfelt songs, and surprise BTS dance cover.
He’s also set to co-host the APEC 2025 K-pop concert with Red Velvet’s Wendy.

Park Bo-gum’s name once again captured public attention after appearing in two major yet very different events: an invitation to an exclusive chaebol family gathering in Seoul and a highly successful international fan meeting tour stop in Macao. His shining career now extends beyond the entertainment industry, reaching into art, culture, and even Korea’s cultural diplomacy.

September 8 became an unusual moment for the Korean public when Kim Hee-young, the partner of SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won, shared a photo with Park Bo-gum. The post drew wide attention as it revealed the actor’s attendance at a prestigious chaebol family event.

The event itself was a solo exhibition by world-renowned artist Kim Soo-ja, held at Seonhyewon, Samcheong-dong, Seoul. Interestingly, this marked Kim Soo-ja’s first exhibition in Seoul in a decade, and the first time her works were displayed in a traditional hanok. Seonhyewon is no ordinary venue—it was once the private residence of SK Group’s founder, recently reopened as a corporate research center and convention space.

Park Bo-gum was invited as a special guest due to his close relationship with the artist. On this occasion, he posed for photos with chaebol family members, projecting his image as an honorary ambassador of Korean tourism, bridging traditional art, business circles, and cultural diplomacy in one elegant stage.

Macao Fan Meeting: Close with Fans, Full of Surprises

Not stopping at the art stage, Park Bo-gum continued his journey to The Londoner Arena, Macao, on September 6, 2025, for his global fan meeting tour titled “PARK BO GUM 2025 FAN MEETING TOUR [BE WITH YOU]”.

Macao became one of the key stops after he had already greeted fans in Yokohama, Singapore, Kaohsiung, Manila, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Jakarta. This meeting felt particularly meaningful as it reunited Bo-gum with his international fans for the first time in six years since his last global tour in 2019.

During the event, he showed his warm side by expressing gratitude for the heartfelt welcome from Macao fans. He also shared stories about his recent life and his impressions of the city, known for its vibrant days and dazzling nights.

The highlight came when he fulfilled a fan’s request to perform the choreography of BTS’s “Boy With Luv”—his first dance stage in six years. With cheerful expressions and a relaxed stage presence, Bo-gum drew enthusiastic cheers, turning the concert into a night filled with joy.

He deepened the intimacy of the night through direct interactions: eye contact with the audience, taking photos on stage, and giving out specially prepared gifts. Toward the end, he filled the hall with heartfelt songs, creating a touching and unforgettable experience for everyone present.

Global Schedule and New Role with Wendy

After Macao, Bo-gum is set to continue his tour in Kuala Lumpur (Sept 13), Monterrey (Sept 17), Mexico City (Sept 19), São Paulo (Sept 21), and Santiago (Sept 24) before returning to Seoul. There, he will wrap up his tour with an encore concert “PARK BO GUM 2025 FAN MEETING TOUR [BE WITH YOU] FINAL IN SEOUL” on October 11 at Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University. Tickets for this finale were sold out almost immediately after release.

Beyond the fan meeting, Park Bo-gum has also been confirmed as a special MC alongside Wendy (Red Velvet) at a K-pop concert scheduled as part of the 2025 APEC Summit cultural event in October. The concert will take place at the Gyeongju Eastern Historic Site, featuring a massive lineup including IVE, STAYC, NMIXX, H1-KEY, and G-Dragon. With Bo-gum and Wendy as hosts, the event is expected to further amplify the global presence of K-culture.

Following his Macao stage, social media was instantly flooded with warm reactions from fans. Many were impressed by Park Bo-gum’s sincerity, positive energy, and his special BTS performance. Here are some comments that reflect the overwhelming love for him:

“Dear Bogum, thank you for coming to Macao and gave a wonderful performance at the Fan meeting, it’s an unforgettable memory for me! Love you sooo much 😘😘”

“오늘도 아름답고 멋진 여행되셨죠? ✨”

“Dear bogummy, welcome to Macao! Thank you for creating another touching night again! Looking forward to seeing you again. Good night!”

“수고했어요, 오늘도 ❤️”

“Boy With Luv stage in Macao reminds me of Manila… purple heart all the way 💜”

Balancing art, culture, and heartfelt fan interactions, Park Bo-gum proves he is more than just a top actor—he is also an icon capable of bridging multiple worlds, from exclusive art exhibitions to the global K-pop stage.
