GAP has officially announced multinational girl group KATSEYE as their newest brand ambassador—a move that instantly grabbed the public’s attention. The announcement came shortly after American Eagle’s campaign with Sydney Sweeney stirred controversy, leading many to draw comparisons between the two ads. Ironically, this only made the GAP x KATSEYE collaboration go even more viral.

Known for their diverse lineup of members from different countries and cultural backgrounds, KATSEYE has always brought a strong message of inclusivity to the K-pop scene. GAP seems to have intentionally highlighted this multicultural identity in their latest campaign, blending the brand’s classic, casual style with the group’s vibrant modern energy.
