BLACKPINK is finally coming back this November, Treasure and Babymonster join the lineup, A powerful YG release wave is on the horizon.

Good news has arrived for K-pop fans. YG Entertainment’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk has finally shared the company’s major release plans for the second half of the year. Three of YG’s powerhouse groups—BLACKPINK, Treasure, and Babymonster—are all set to drop new music in the coming months.
In a video interview uploaded on YG’s official blog, Yang revealed that BLACKPINK is preparing for a new album tentatively scheduled for November. While it has not been confirmed whether it will be a mini album or a full-length record, the announcement quickly drew attention as it marks the group’s first comeback in three years since the release of Born Pink in September 2022. Earlier this summer, BLACKPINK dropped their digital single Jump on July 11 and performed it live for the first time at their world tour kickoff concert Deadline.
Alongside BLACKPINK, YG confirmed that Treasure will release their third EP, Love Pulse, on September 1. The album includes four tracks—lead single Paradise and three B-sides: Everything, Now Forever, and Better Than Me. According to Yang, the project is designed to connect with fans ahead of the group’s upcoming global tour. Music videos for Paradise and Everything will also roll out during the promotion period.
Babymonster is also gearing up for a comeback on October 10 with a new EP featuring four tracks, including the title track We Go Up. The record will also showcase Psycho, Supa Dupa Luv, and Wild, each highlighting different styles ranging from hip-hop to country-inspired dance. Interestingly, their latest digital single Hot Sauce will not be included on the tracklist. Yang added that recording for Babymonster’s 2026 release is already 80–90% complete, showing YG’s long-term strategy for the rookie group.
Fans’ Reactions and the Impact of BLACKPINK’s Comeback
The news of BLACKPINK’s November comeback instantly sparked mixed reactions among fans on X (Twitter). Many pointed out the long hiatus, while others speculated on the involvement of different producers.
Some fans wrote:
“So people stop blaming YG like he is not the main producer of BLACKPINK… Well for me I can wait.”
“Hopefully we get 4–5 songs at least… Jump should not be included so that we have new songs 😭.”
“It clearly said mini album and they don’t need that long to record a 3 tracks album.”
“THEIR PRODUCERS? not YG producer or what? Teddy already has her group, why not use other producer.”
“Waiting three years more mini album… give me a group who stopped three years and gave their fans 1 song and hit all the charts? None, only BP ‘cause we are so loyal.”
“Nov release—Maybe or maybe not—Mini album or full—Not confirmed—We in trenches 😭.”
“I speak for everyone when i say that we want full album with deluxe and not another mini album with 5 songs”
“Maybe YG can push for a whole album to be out before GTA 6”
“3 years hiatus just for Mini Album? C’mon blinks deserve a proper music.”
While loyal BLINKs remain patient, some expressed frustration at the lack of details and the unusually long break. Still, BLACKPINK’s comeback is expected to have a massive impact on the global K-pop scene.
Every release from the group has consistently dominated streaming platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, and Billboard charts. A November release is also seen as a strategic move, aligning with the year-end award season when exposure is at its peak. Beyond music, BLACKPINK’s return often sparks global trends in fashion, brand collaborations, and concert tours that contribute significantly to Korea’s entertainment economy.
The lineup of releases from BLACKPINK, Treasure, and Babymonster demonstrates YG’s broader strategy: BLACKPINK as the global icon, Treasure solidifying their fandom across Asia, and Babymonster positioned as the face of K-pop’s next generation.

Played Kill This Love at the pub last night. Regulars now think I’m cool. November comeback? Perfect timing before winter hibernation. Sláinte, YG!
BLACKPINK and Treasure and Babymonster?
My wallet’s crying but my heart’s SO READY! Manifesting OT4 stages & Treasure world tour dates! #YGFamily
It’s frustrating that we’ve waited this long and still don’t know if it’s a mini or full album. BLINKs deserve clearer updates after such a huge gap.
Oh, I totally get your frustration…
As a drama fan, I know how hard waiting feels! But maybe YG is building suspense like a good K-drama cliffhanger? Hoping it’s worth the wait for BLINKs!
3 years for a mini album? YG really testing BLINKs loyalty. Jennie better not prioritize her solo career over recording sessions this time
Jim, your pub story just made my day!
Playing BLACKPINK for regulars is how legends are made! And YES, November comebacks = perfect cozy streaming weather with hot cocoa!

Teddy’s not producing? Interesting shift! Hope BLACKPINK’s new sound experiments like Pink Venom👏
If I play ‘Jump’ next, the lads might actually jump off their stools @Linda_Turner !
Might need to stock extra whiskey for BLACKPINK’s November chaos
Honestly, I don’t mind waiting as long as BLACKPINK delivers something fresh. Three years is a long time, but their comebacks always feel like an event.
Yayayaaa!! I’m ready too!!! My credit card is all set as well yeyeyeeeyyy

let’s support them all!
Treasure and Babymonster releases sound really promising, but BLACKPINK in November is definitely the highlight. Can’t wait to see how big this comeback will be.
Interesting to see YG lining up all three groups in the same season. It looks like a strategic move to dominate the charts before year-end awards
