Jang Na-ra joins the ride, a cameo cloaked in mystery, While fans dream of villains and sweet-faced treachery— Taxi Driver 3 returns, revved up for global glory.

The hit revenge-action drama Taxi Driver is making its comeback with Season 3, airing from November 14, 2025 to January 10, 2026, for a total of 16 episodes. Often dubbed the “satisfying apple” of Korean dramas for its cathartic portrayal of revenge against criminals, Taxi Driver 3 will once again be helmed by director Kang Bo-seung and writer Oh Sang-ho. This season promises an expanded storyline and international-scale production—evident from filming locations outside of Korea, including Japan.
SBS confirmed that the original main cast—Lee Je-hoon (as Kim Do-ki), Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram—will return. But the real buzz came from two new names: Jang Na-ra and Eum Moon-suk, both of whom have stirred major excitement online.
Jang Na-ra will appear as a special cameo, though details of her role remain under wraps. Interestingly, this casting was not a random selection. On DinDin’s Music High radio show last January, Jang Na-ra revealed she was a huge fan of Taxi Driver and expressed her desire to take on a female version of the show’s concept. Now, that wish is coming true.
Known for her sweet image and versatile acting, Jang Na-ra won the Grand Prize (Daesang) at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards for her lead role in Good Partner, which is also set to return for a second season. Though her role in Taxi Driver 3 is a cameo, fans know her performances always leave a lasting impact. Her presence is expected to bring a refreshing dynamic to the Taxi Driver universe.

Meanwhile, Eum Moon-suk, best known for his character Jang Ryong in The Fiery Priest, is also joining the cast in a significant role that ties closely into the plot. Originally debuting as a singer before transitioning to acting in 2016, Moon has built a solid resume with hits like Backstreet Rookie, Good Job, and the box office success The Outlaws 2. With his charismatic versatility, his addition to Taxi Driver 3 only heightens the anticipation.
This season also brings in Yoon Si-yoon and veteran Japanese actor Naoto Takenaka. SBS has dubbed Taxi Driver 3 as its next major IP, aiming for high ratings in the year-end season. With a mix of returning fan-favorites, surprising new cast members, and ambitious global production, Taxi Driver 3 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated K-dramas of the year.

News of Jang Na-ra’s appearance quickly sparked massive excitement on social media, especially on X. Fans began speculating about the type of character the multi-talented actress might play—ranging from a helpless client, a clever lawyer, to a hidden villain with an innocent face.

“I have a feeling she’ll be a lawyer.”
“A client of Rainbow Taxi, a betrayed wife seeking revenge after her husband cheats and runs off with their money.”
“Omooooooo can’t wait! If she plays one of the villains, it’s gonna be epic—so unpredictable because of her innocent look.”
Meanwhile, user @simpforjehoon shared the official broadcast schedule:
“Taxi Driver 3 is scheduled to broadcast from November 14, 2025 ~ January 10, 2026 with 16 episodes!”
Excitement wasn’t limited to Korean fans. International viewers also expressed their anticipation. User @Piticulmic commented:

With sky-high expectations, wild fan theories, and the reputation of two high-caliber actors joining the cast, Taxi Driver 3 isn’t just a continuation of a hit series—it’s a bold evolution of SBS’s flagship revenge franchise.
